Abstract:
In this talk, I will provide a brief overview of how the Korean government—particularly the Financial Supervisory Service (FSS) and the Bank of Korea—has responded to climate-related risks, especially in the insurance sector. I will also present insights from my current interdisciplinary project with Korean Re and discuss the associated working paper.
